Step into the world of ancient Greece with this magnificent Hermes Bust, a handcrafted reproduction of the legendary statue Hermes and Dionysus (circa 330 BC), preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. In Greek mythology, Hermes was the messenger of the gods, swift, wise, and graceful, the protector of travelers and commerce. In Roman mythology, he was known as Mercury, the god of eloquence and trade. This sculpture captures his calm, divine beauty and the perfect harmony between thought and motion.
Each piece is handmade in Italy from recomposed Carrara marble, hand-patinated, and mounted on a marble base, giving it both strength and elegance. A timeless centerpiece that brings classical art and myth to your modern space.
