All Avant Garde Products are Packaged and Shipped in Secure Wooden Plywood Box Crate Export Packaging.

We offer direct shipping from our Avant Garde International warehouse facility via Premium DDP shipping to AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, EUROPE, USA, CHINA, INDIA and UAE. Express Air Freight is also available for Express 7-10 day delivery on request. Premium DDP Shipping Service is Door to Door. The delivery company will contact you prior to arrival of your order to notify you of the delivery time and date.
Avant Garde can facilitate delivery to any Australian address. Please provide you delivery address at checkout so our Sales team can provide the shipping cost for your order.
DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY
Premium DDP Delivery is Door to Door. We provide a Premium drop-off only courier service to your door and includes freight insurance. The delivery will only deliver to the ground floor entrance. It may be necessary for you to assist or move merchandise into your home, this is especially relevant if you live in a block of flats as shipping carriers will only deliver to the ground floor.
Please note, If there is no access to front door due to limited road access or narrow entryway the delivery company will deliver to the closest access point. The delivery company is not responsible for delivery to door if trucking or delivery access is not available. Standard delivery does not include unpacking, installation or rubbish removal.
WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
Premium White Glove delivery is available via additional surcharge. The Installation Team will unpack the products for inspection, remove packaging and installation.
White Glove installation can be booked once your order has been delivered by the freight forwarder. You can liaise directly with the White Glove Team for installation times.

EXPRESS AIR FREIGHT
Air Freight is also available for Express 10-15 day delivery on request. Express Air freight includes freight insurance. For express Air freight option please contact our Sales Team.
Please ensure to provide correct phone number for the shipping carrier to notify you to arrange delivery. All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Our shipping carriers are unable to give delivery specific times or times. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and up-to-date as we cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address.
TRANSIT TIMES
For In Stock item delivery transit time is 3-7 days once we dispatch your order from our Sydney warehouse. The delivery timeframe for preorder or custom order goods is approx. 6-8 weeks including delivery.
ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
We aim to process all orders within 1-2 business days, however, during busy periods, it may take longer.
ORDER TRACKING
For order shipped directly from our International factory our dedicated shipping manager will track your order until it arrives to your location. For ground courier deliveries you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your order’s progress online.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and up-to-date as we cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship worldwide to international locations. We offer Express 15-20 Day Express Air Shipping to EU, US, ASIA, AUS, NZ, UAE international destinations. Please note that shipping times and costs may vary depending on your location. International orders include door to door shipping service directly from our warehouse facility. All shipping costs are included to your door.
ORDER PACKING
All orders are packed in protective MDF Wood Crated Packaging for safest shipping and handling. Please be aware that tools are required for opening protective wood packaging provided by the factory.
TRANSIT INSURANCE
All Avant Garde Furniture and Lighting products are covered by Shipping/Transit damage insurance. If any items arrives damaged we will offer a replacement for satisfactory solution. Contact us at concierge@avantgardefurniture.com.au for questions related to claims or returns.
DELIVERY DISCLAIMER
FRONT ENTRANCE DELIVERY
Deliveries are strictly door-to-door services; the shipping carrier will deliver to your ground floor front door location or to an accessible ground-floor entrance. Shipping carriers are not obligated to enter any premises or homes and will enter at their discretion.
NON-GROUND FLOOR DELIVERIES
Due to Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations deliveries to ground floor only. This includes (but is not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the front door of the property.
UNATTENDED/NO-ONE HOME
If the courier arrives to deliver your goods after a pre-arrangement was made, no one is present to receive them and an ‘Authority to Leave Unattended*’ note has not been left they will return the freight back to the shipping carriers depot. A calling card will be left at the premises for you to arrange the redelivery or collection. In this case, you will be liable for the re-delivery fees and charges. Avant Garde Furniture will not be liable for these re-delivery fees and charges. If the order is subsequently canceled and returned to the supplier, you will be liable for all shipping carrier charges as well as a 15% restocking fee. *Please note that we do not recommend authority to leave unattended and the shipping carrier may also wish to decline the request as all our deliveries require a signature on delivery.
DAMAGE TO PACKAGING
Damage to packaging must be stated on the delivery note next to your signature. You must cross out “delivered in good condition” from the shipping carrier’s delivery note (if applicable) and write “damage to packaging”. If the item has been damaged you are required to contact our Sales Team with a description of the damage and photos attached. The support team will contact you within 48 hours. For peace of mind, we offer shipping insurance which covers any damage that may occur while in transit.
WILL NOT FIT/INCORRECT PURCHASE
If it is found that the product ‘will not fit’ through/around any doors/stairwells etc. and the product is subsequently returned, you are responsible for all outward and return carriage costs and a 20% restocking and storage fee will apply. Store Credit applies only for incorrect or Change of mind purchases.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT/MISSING COMPONENTS
Items damaged in transit will be covered by shipping insurance. The Item or component will be repaired or replaced as covered by the transit insurance. If you have received your item damaged or components are missing a claim must be made via our support center. This claim must be made within 48 hours of receiving the order. Proof of purchase and photos of the condition of the received goods are required to be submitted with the claim. If this is not done within the 48 hour period of receiving, Avant Garde Furniture has the right to refuse your claim.
Please note any Minor damage to items during delivery are covered under our warranty policy. We can provide spare parts and hardware to accommodate the minor repair excluding any labour costs. We can offer free parts and replacements only.
