Are you a online only?
We are a completely online business; we do not have storefronts or showrooms, which enables us to keep our costs down to pass on these savings to our customers. We offer in-house consultation, or virtual consultation. Product samples and fabric swatches are available to order on request on 02 8528 8616

Do you have a Return policy?

Do you offer virtual consultation?
Yes, we offer a virtual design consultation service, remote service, in home consultation and appointments which you can arrange with the Avant Garde design team or call us on 02 8528 8616

How do I view pricing and availability online?
All pricing is available to view online For Wholesale/Trade pricing – An Trade account must be created to view Trade discount price. 

Are all of your products available online?
Yes, the entire catalogue is available to view online. If you cannot find a product it may have been removed due to the status of the product being discontinued.

How can I place my order?
You are able to place an order online at anytime though our Checkout system. Our website is designed to present you with our entire catalogue and range of designer furniture, homewares and lighting. When you place your order at checkout our Sales team will add delivery fee to your order and send you a proforma invoice for payment of your order.

How do I know if my items are available immediately?
In Stock items are shown in our In stock section of of menu/website. These items are available for immediate delivery from our Sydney warehouse. All other products displayed in our catalogue are available for preorder or customisation.

How will I know what my freight charge is?
Freight is calculated by size and destination. When you place your order at checkout our Sales team will add delivery fee to your order and send you a proforma invoice for payment of your order.

How can I cancel my order?
To speak with a customer service representative and enquire about cancelling or changing an order that’s already been placed, please call our customer service on 02 8528 8616

How do I ship to an address other than my billing address?
You can have your order deliver to another address by filling the correct Shipping address details that is different to the Billing address.

Do you offer pick up?
Yes, pick up is available at our Sydney warehouse facility by appointment only. Photo ID and copy of your online order is required for pick up. Pick up can be refused if correct vehicle is not arranged by customer for safe transit.

Do you send invoices with your items?
No, only a delivery docket will be sent with your delivery. An email with your invoice will be sent to the email address attached to your account at time of despatch.

What if my product arrives damaged/faulty?
No problem. Avant Garde Furniture will take full responsibility for items that arrive to you damaged or faulty. We ask that a written request form is completed and returned to claims@avantgardefurniture.com.au. A claims office will then be in contact with you to deliver further instructions. How long does a credit take to process?

Is there anything special I should know about some of Avant Garde Furniture products?
Many of our products are uniquely artisan hand-made. In particular, the handcrafted wood, marble glass and ceramic products are handmade. Under these manufacturing processes natural imperfections in finishes could be apparent and it is likely that no two pieces will be exactly alike due to the natural characteristics of the materials used.

Is there a Warranty on Avant Garde products?
All Avant Garde products are covered by manufacturers warranty. At Avant Garde Furniture, we handle warranty in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation. This warranty is based on observance of product maintenance procedures. This excludes fair wear & tear, improper use, vandalism, failure to use in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.

Our warranty period is as follows:

Avant Garde furniture and lighting products come with 10 Year Structural Warranty.
All Furniture components for seating (sofas, chairs, stools, ottomans) – 2 years.
Lighting, all other Furniture, Homewares, Mirrors, Wall Art – 1 year.

Which Payment methods do you accept?
We accept Credit Card payments (2% Surcharge) and Bank deposit directly to our Trade Bank account. Our Sales team will provide Proforma Invoice with payment options for your order.
